01

Who we are

KatSquare, Bengaluru, India, runs katsquare.com and decides how the personal data collected through it is used. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 that makes us the Data Fiduciary.

02

What we collect

What you type into the contact form: name, email, company, phone, timeline, the services you are interested in and your message. Anything you send us by email or WhatsApp. Your IP address, held for about a minute to block spam submissions, and in short-lived server error logs. Nothing else: no cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers.

03

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal if you ask for one, deliver work you engage us for, keep the site secure, and meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not add you to a mailing list or use your details for marketing.

04

Basis for using it

Your consent, given when you send the form or write to us, which you can withdraw at any time; the contract, once we are working together; and legal obligation, for financial records.

05

Cookies & analytics

This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. If we ever add analytics, this section will name the tool, what it stores and how to opt out before it is switched on. Links to Instagram, X and WhatsApp take you to those services, whose own privacy policies apply.

06

Where it is stored and who sees it

The site runs on servers in Mumbai, India. Enquiries reach us by email through our email provider, Hostinger, which may store mail on servers outside India. Client work may also involve our accounting and payment providers. We share data only with these providers, under contract, and with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal data.

07

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months of our last contact. Records of paid work are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Server logs are kept briefly and overwritten automatically.

08

Security

Every page and form is served over encrypted HTTPS, and access to the inbox and servers is limited to the people who need it. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

09

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's data, and will delete it if we learn we have.

10

Your rights

You can ask for a summary of the data we hold about you, have it corrected, completed or erased, withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity. Write to info@katsquare.com and we will respond within 30 days.

11

Grievances

For any complaint about how we handle your data, contact info@katsquare.com or +91 80888 08877. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

12

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not use data already collected for a new purpose without asking you first.
